I love my apartment very much. It’s cozy, cute and our first home together and though I crave sometimes more space and rooms, a yard, a garage and the ability to have a dog, I know that one day the two of us will look back on our little haven and miss it. (I mean did any of you watch this week’s This Is Us episode? So relevant… and I cry every. single. time).
Anyway, regardless of that, I still like putting together mood boards, pinboards, posts and daydreams about what my future home would look like… and of course under the pretense that I have an unlimited budget ;o) It really should be no surprise, I do love design and mostly just anything that allows me to be creative.
I put together a few pieces that would incorporate in my dream living room. I combined some soft, feminine pieces with some masculine, wester pieces as I love putting together opposites and integrated various color palettes and textures. Check it out! Every piece is from Arhaus too – seriously gorgeous!
I love white, clean and crips and I am all about a sectional for naps and cuddling purposes!
I absolutely love this rose gold, girlie piece and the pop it would bring. I also picked a neutral colored couch because I know I’d want a fun pop of color or pattern and this gorgeous place to but the booty fits the bill!
I love the clean, crisp look of the glass and the double shelves allows for more creativity when it comes to decor.
I adore the fabric and hardware detailing and think the geometric inclusion presents fun twist to some other picks of mine that are more traditional.
There’s a white countertop. Need I say more?
The intricacy and design of this is swoon worthy and I love white as it is such a great base. Also, have you noticed? I don’t believe in furniture being too matchy!
It’ no secret that I aim to be Belle and have her library and this old fashioned-esque. book case with a rustic finish helps me make that dream come true!
If I could marry an area rug, this would be it. I love the pops of color so much. It’s fun and girlie without being too obvious!
I love chandeliers, They are classic and gorgeous and I would be happy to infiltrate them into my home in any way possible.
This crystal base is stunning and with a modern, neutral shade, it offers the perfect pairing.
I love the earthy, rustic, western feel of these pillows and find them to be fun in decor that is mostly feminine and lush.
Because we all know cowhide pillows look best with soft pink! Open up your minds! Can you see it? I sure can! Opposites really can attract!
I really don’t need to even say much about this. I mean come on! Look how soft and cozy it looks!
I don’t discriminate most decor pieces I find but I thought this antler would match the cowhide well. To tie this room together I would use a lot of vintage books, crystal detailing and rustic woods to combine that cocktail of rustic meets chic.
What would your dream living room look like?
