Airtime: Sharing the Music from Afar

dscn1243

Some of the best memories in college and high school were putting the music up loud and getting ready with your girlfriends before a night out. These days, the amount of girl roomies among my friend groups is dwindling. Boys have now become our new roomies and though I still get to listen to some jams while getting ready with him (though his rap preference often times is not my first choice) I do miss the girlie day from time to time.

I recently partnered up with Airtime though and it changed everything! It gives you the option to still have that fun, get ready together experience when you aren’t actually together, prepping you for that girls night out! Just download the app, create a playlist (videos too!) and invite friends to join. You can buzz them (and chat them!) to play along with you so while you are primping, you know your BFFs are jammin’ along with you. Oh technology…

My friend Laurel and I met up for drinks and tried it out and put songs on the playlist to check out and share with each other. It helped get our girl bonding and night started a bit earlier. It just all-around added to the fun!

It must also be noted, I’m rather famous (at least to my old roommate/one of my best friends Laura) for making pretty random CDs. I never liked to have just one kind of music on my CDs or now,┬áplaylists. I liked it to be a treasure chest of songs…where ya never knew what was coming up next! It made it more fun all those years I road tripped up and down Highway 5 from the Bay to LA. I put together a little girlie list below and you will find a cluster of randomness varying from all types of music. If you know me though, you might be able to tell I REALLY like oldies and have a soft spot for showtunes! ;o)
Steal My Sunshine – Len
Send┬áMy Love – Adele
Toxic – Britney Spears
Ooo boy I love you so
Wannabe – Spice Girls
Cheap Thrills – Sia
Cowboy Casanova- Carrie Underwood
