A Shabby Chic Bridal Shower

This past weekend, I attended the bridal shower of my good friend from high school Julie and I have to say, it was one of the most stunning showers I have ever been to. I loved it! Her MOH thought of every little detail and it was blog worthy/Pinterest worthy/ any other creative outlet worthy. So, naturally I was a bit of a paparazzi and snapped some pics whenever I had a moment. There’s lots of inspiration here for you all to draw from if you are in the market to plan one of these popular shindigs!

For the food there was a delicious cheese plate accompanied with dried fruit, breads, and crackers (and garnished with rosemary which I thought was an extra nice touch). There were also crab cakes, empanadas, and my favorite, tiny grilled cheese and tomato soup cups. Drool! The dessert bar was downright sexy as it had cupcakes, cookies, mini apple pies, and a favorite of my friends and I, banana cake from Icing on the Cake in Los Gatos. (Best bakery ever!)

The cocktail bar was fully stocked and the champagne and wine bottles featured some gorgeous pictures of the bride from her engagement shoot. There were also tiny gold kitty stirrers that added some extra flair to our sips and awakened my inner cat lady as I thought they were absolutely adorable. All other details were also exceptional including the floral arrangements, wreaths, signs, sequined tablecloth, framed picture, and the cake topper that said “for like ever” with napkins to match and their hashtag included. Seriously right? The CUTEST details!

Anyways, please enjoy the pictures. If any of you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me and I’ll get you the answers straight from the Master Minds behind the event!
